The sky cracked open like an egg
Pouring its whites like shining bone dust
Collecting on the ground in ruins
Built up from pagan sorrows and pagan storms

He crawled from the runes
Scribblings like twig upon twig
To belt out a calling to the listeners
Be wary of your fires, for they burn my havens down

His echo was heard by haloed heads
Ribbons and fern twisted on necks
Their bodies retched open, letting the sun in
To sink into soil, like blood on their hands

This really is an amazing poem! :D It's so descriptive, and dark... But it's so beautiful... Everything flows well, and all I can say again is amazing... ^^

Great! Might sound better with saying pagan once in line 4 though :)
This does read like a classic like others said...very interesting!
By the way, how did you get that font?
