fauxpillarous vines creep pines
lost in cedar limbs
climb briar ladders
to reach godstatus
elevate
airplanes make loud noises in the sky
crackles of footsteps like cackling masks
smashed underfoot

wheezing clear god

my grey labyrinth lungs

collide with meO, virgin ghost
collide with me
my eye is open, I am your target

I’ll bury them deep in the mossy soil
Where they’ll blossom bright ideas and words never said

I’ll paint you peace of mind
Home for a voyeur’s jealous eyes
And name the mightiest of tempest heavens after you

milkWith fire, they carve incantations upon my crown
Speaking words that whisper loud

my veins feel like wires spitting currents like waves crashing
skull against rock, as the birds above fall like stars

the beat of the drum dances to ecstasy's whipping tongue
skyclad to take the milk of heaven in

when the eye opens, like the sky,
it too shall cough up milk
to feed the covetous teeth that crawl up our spines
the wyrms of gods past and those still to arrive

greedy teeth
her trapp-ed-ness : her happiness
his puncture marks & their bittersweet ooze
to hold her; to let her

haloed sister gods shot down like fawn

memoirs of martians.we ignited a life of silk and spat
out loose cannons like shaken teeth-
rejected molecular bits because
they failed to find an equilibrium
in a tilting, unstable world.

canals were filled at the handiwork
of our bitten nails brought to trembles.
we left our prints at the crime scene, so
that when detectives mapped our impact
and sought our minds, they would learn
our secret: we are imaginary beings,
not of shadow or flesh, just memory.

perhaps, the peroxide doctors will
overdose on inspiration to find a cure
for our condition. perhaps, they will
rave as ghosts in a bee hive frenzy,
promising to undo the almighty
with chemic

Pouring its whites like shining bone dust
Collecting on the ground in ruins
Built up from pagan sorrows and pagan storms

He crawled from the runes
Scribblings like twig upon twig
To belt out a calling to the listeners
Be wary of your fires, for they burn my havens down

His echo was heard by haloed heads
Ribbons and fern twisted on necks
Their bodies retched open, letting the sun in
To sink into soil, like blood on their hands
